1. Where he is able to be, doing what he does.

What HE needs is more people actively working along side him, donating, being active.

2. I think we've got a fine set of candidates now.
Although I'd love to see Gore endorsing one, and campaigning along side them heavily.

3. Why does Al NOT want to be a President of the United States?
He can certainly push his enviromental agenda to the Nth degree, move towards alternative fuel methods, increase CAFE standards, make us all go green at a huge tax benefits, force the ultra-wealthy to start paying everything through the nose, increase the mass-transit opportunity for us all (since we do suck), and use the gasoline markup to ACTUALLY pay for the things we sorely needed, and out of the Big Oil's greedy hands, and make the Big Oil account for everything that they have stolen, gouged, and fucked over the Americans for years.

5. Precisely. The Leader of the Free World needs to lead this effort.
Nothing else will do. Run Al Run!

4. It's a catch-22
The two most pressing dangers in the world right now are:
1. Global warming
2. The United States

If he focuses solely on global warming he cannot help our country before we landslide into Hell. Another corporate President of any political stripe is not what we need.
If he focuses on being the POTUS, he can still affect global warming by enacting treaties.

There is ONE place for Al Gore and that is in the Oval Office.
Anyone that says differently clearly has alternative motives for not wanting him there.

6. He could do almost as much good as an advisor...
...to a president who is genuinely concerned with the Earth. Still, if Gore was one of the choices, it would be hard to choice someone else. He is the most pro-environment candidate ever (and was in 2000) except that Kerry and Dukakis were very pro-environment too. He is the most experienced and qualified person ever to run. Eight years each in the House, Senate and Vice Presidency. No one else comes close.

What the hell kind of nation are we that would even consider picking a retard like Bush over Al Gore?
