"Liberal" MSNBC and their right wing agenda - today's tidbits, with Mrs. Greenspan
She reported on the California debate. To hear her tell it, after "Meg's" stellar performance last night, ol' Jerry needs to hang it up and head for the bar to cry in his beer.

But the disgusting thing was the fawning over "Michelle" (Rhee). She had on some right wing guy (name missed) who was talking all soft and concerned about "the kids." The two of them never spoke of Rhee as other than "Michelle" and in the kindest, warmest of terms. It was as if they were eulogizing her.

The only impression one could get from the first few minutes of her show on "Liberal" MSNBC was that the Democrats will not get the California governor's seat, that Meg Whitman is the second coming of the lord, and that Michelle Rhee's leaving will devastate the DC school system.

1. I seen it!
See left out the part where MEG'S staff used the Whore word, and Meg said that was different..
Was terrible reporting of the facts.
Particle sound bites used.

2. You're absolutely right
That's how "Liberal" MSNBC rolls.

If one accepts them as liberal, one would think what was reported is all that happened.

6. MSNBC is schizophrenic
During the day, they're conservative, pandering to all the Gen Suck retirees with nothing to do but gawp at the teevee set while their wives long for the days when they could work in peace without cleaning around them. In the evening, they go for the younger audience that's still out in the world and working for a living, and they take a turn slightly left.

Pandering to Gen. Suck isn't going to last much longer since the oldest cohort of Boomers is retiring and that oldest cohort isn't going to accept that conservative mush and corporate crapola kindly.

7. I wanted to yell at my TV when she did that. Completely omitted the point where Brown destroyed
her on the entire issue. Such BS reporting.

5. I have always said it is only "liberal" for a couple three hours a day. The rest of the time it
swings right.

8. And even in those few evening red meat hours, pay close attention
The nighttime liberals won't lie like the day shift does, but there have been stories that went uncovered by them. It isn't often, to be sure. But when certain stories are near incendiary to the position GE wants championed, they go unreported.

9. I wonder which personality Tweety will have today
it's always interesting to see where he comes down on something, you never can be sure. He may have a tingle in his leg for Whitman or side with Brown.

11. That will be complicated. But if you want to try to predict, try this:
Matthews has a history in San Francisco, working in various roles for the SF Chronicle. I have little doubt he had some interactions with the Browns. If they treated his needy little self well, he'll side now with Jerry. If they ignored his needy little self, he'll go with Whitman.

For Matthews, its all about Matthews.

10. It always surprises me because there's a big progressive audience out there and
MSNBC can have it all. To give them credit, they're showing both sides (or the other side, in Andrea's case) rather than straight party rah rah like Fox. I've seen Andrea do some pieces where I was going "whoa - is she a liberal?" -- can't quite figure her out. Except being married to who she is is a big clue.

16. Rhee leaving?
I read some where that Rhee was vacating her position. That would be a good thing unless she is going some where else to ruin another school system.

18. The only thing Andrea Mitchell is interested in is
preserving her inner circle of cocktail party friends. She considers herself a strong feminist and was obviously a Hillary supporter during the 08 primary. She is friends with that de Rothschild creature. She's a name dropper too and seems really driven to show how "in" she is with those in power.
