Yes, indeed, it seems the Chilean flag and the Texas are remarkably similar - so much so that in Atascosa Texas, the Chilean flag is prominently displayed on the county's absentee ballot form.

"Apparently the insert has been used for some time without anyone (voters and staff) noticing," Knudson wrote in an e-mail to The Statesman. "I guess it's funny in some way, but my initial reaction was more disbelief that no one had noticed."
