ARGUMENTS TO HELP PROGRESSIVES WIN THIS NOVEMBER
Edited on Wed Oct-13-10 05:47 AM by MN TN
Please add your own ideas to this list:

EXAMPLES:
1. CEO’S MAKING 500 TIMES WHAT AVERAGE WORKER MAKES – Democrats stopped this
2. CREDIT CARD COMPANIES – Progressives stopped them from raising rates once someone’s credit card debt goes up making it impossible for people to pay off debts.
3. ILLEGALS – This is a MAJOR argument GOP is using to vote for them this year. Yet, Democrats have been doing a lot more than what Bush ever did to stop them. Legal workers don’t want them here because they take jobs away from them whereas Big Business wants the cheap labor. Thus progressives have helped stop unemployment going up and minimum wage going down
4. DEMOS PASSED LAWS TO STOP FUTURE BAILOUTS OF WALLSTREET - Bailing out Wallstreet was very costly for American taxpayers, causing National Debt to go up. Now our government has tighter regulations.
5. HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES – Now they can no longer deny you coverage once you get sick.
6. DEMOS HAVE NOW INVESTED $60 BILLION IN RENEWABLE ENERGY – Otherwise, more dependence on foreign oil, more oil leaks, and what are we going to do once all the oil runs out?
7. OBAMA ENDED VERY EXPENSIVE WAR IN IRAQ.
8. RESTORED AMERICA’S IMAGE ABROAD
9. GULF OIL LEAK – Certain Republicans have been quoted as saying our government should pay for Gulf Oil leak instead of BP being held responsible. We do need more government regulations to stop future oil leaks but this oil company should pay for it, not the taxpayers.
10. LARGE BUSINESSES NEED MORE GOVERNMENT REGULATION - Otherwise, they are becoming extremely powerful and wealthy, taking over our country, sending jobs overseas and harming individuals and other smaller businesses.

Finally, also point out to wealthy friends that stock market improved significantly after democrats took over.
