1. Can we have an option for Don't Know?

I have some general preconceptions (misconceptions?) on economics, but I'm rather ignorant on important details.

but hurts American's buying power at home.

A stronger dollar hurts exports...
but makes buying power at home better.

Should the dollar be manipulated to for the benefit of Americans or for exporters?

I would rather encourage the re-industrialization of America, where we make more of our own goods for our own consumption.

To keep the parasites afloat, the bailout needs to be monetized (the course being followed) which results in a much weaker dollar. You will hear lots of blah, blah about how this is good for our mythical exports and how many minimum wage McJobs it will create.

I voted stronger, though that will bring the short-term hurt that we are desperately trying to avoid.

Like most issues today, this comes down to who do you want to help, the perpetrators or the victims?
