Wow! Just caught Big Ed on repeat this morning and watched Joe Madison eviscerate

Ron Christie. Joe can barely contain his contempt for that man. Called Christie on every BS RW talking point about the march AND got him on wandering into tax cuts for the wealthy are evil territory. That was priceless. Joe is the one person I've seen consistently reduce Christie to snivelling little kid in no time.

These folks have 24-7-365 on any number of radio stations and of course they have Fox..

3. They Make Good Props

I have no problem with them...in fact this is a way to draw out their talking points and ram 'em back at them. For the most part Ed and his regulars like Joe make the wingnuts look foolish. They're not out there spewing their talking points without being confronted...and best we hear this crap since, as you point out, it is flowing other places. Ignoring this close to an election is dangerous territory...we need to know every trick in their book and confront and counter them.

5. I Can Relate...

For the most part I'm tired of the circle jerk of usual suspects that flood the corporate media...including MSNBC. I'd prefer real news to the mental masturbation that is on most shows but that costs money and cuts the profit margin. It's cheaper to play the "equivelency" game...one the GOTB has mastered well and gives these shitstains more influence than they should. Again, I do want to hear their talking points. Yes, most are extremely predictable...but for months Democrats avoided directly challenging them and allowed the teabaggers to get enough publicity and unfettered coverage...they need to be confronted, shut down and battled or we may face more of them. Remember, most of these shows are for the political geeks anyway...it's the political equivelent of celebrity wrestling. We all need a bad guy to boo and cheer when our guy knocks 'em down.
