StanFish says we're just being too mean to the Tea Party
Stanley Fish's latest pile of crap

I don't think any further commenting is necessary. I guess we should be nice to all of the racist little 'baggers out there.

1. Well anything we do to them short of shooting them out right
is ok, after all they are a bunch of bullies trying to intimidate us.

2. 30 years of conservatism. Enough is enough STFU tea buggers!
They told us we didn't need to conserve energy. $4 a gallon gas said otherwise. They told us we didn't need to regulate: the shut-down gulf, the shut-down credit markets and the poisoning of our food says otherwise. They told us we don't need insurance reform. But people being wrongly being defrauded by the insurance industry says otherwise.

AT LONG LAST, Conservatives, STFU!

3. Exactly
Im so damned sick of them..there are quite a few family members i hardly speak to anymore and I have told several long time friends who kept spouting that to get t f out of my house, lose my email and phone numbers and don't come back. One especially hurt because the idiot voted for godam w both times, even after telling him that the election in 2000 was rigged and I was an eyewitness.

Don't teabags have to be put into boiling water
to kill bacteria? I'd say we aren't being mean enough...all we have been doing is roasting them..

5. I rather think you didn't read it at all
and if you did you missed the point entirely.

In fact, you do to Fish exactly what Fish points out dems are doing to the 'baggers: dismiss him out of hand and loudly decrying him, proclaiming that he needn't be paid attention to because you are smarter than him and/or your opinion is better than his. (Psst...You probably aren't, and it definitely is not.)

It's the same function that sank Kerry's candidacy: ignore the lies and the tomfoolery and ignorance and it is sure to go away. (It doesn't.) Haven't we learned that lesson yet?
