I'm sick of these ATTACKS on the left...blaming us...bullying us. We're just asking the Democrats WE ELECTED to do what THEY PROMISED WHEN THEY ASKED FOR OUR VOTES.

This is absolutely insane that they think they can abuse us this way. They are setting us up to take the fall for a mid-term loss, as Glenn Greenwald and others have astutely pointed out.

Well they can just stop this sh*t now. First of all, we'll probably pull out more wins than expected in the mid-terms - and possibly not lose the Senate or the House. Secondly, this is just no way to treat the ones who brung you.

It's unfair, it's unseemly, and it's unwise.

1. I know, the Prez and VP spend most of their day online
posting discouraging news stories and complaining about how they are being personally insulted. I wonder if they will even show up at the polls on election day. Lazy bastards.

42. how f*cked up is that?
Is there any objective evidence that republican ideas have made this county a better place since 1980?

Cantering to republicans is cantering failure. Obama had his historical chance to lead, it has passed and his stabs at 'bi-partisanship' are the root of his failures.

Let's hope he wises up and moves to the left in 2012.

And people wonder why some on the Left are pissed and discouraged.

What a way to get folks to the polls -- insult them. Good job!

He's only achieved more for the american people than any president in the first part of his presidency.
But you know that, I'm sure.

15. Excellent point!
Everybody does not have the same agenda or the same priorities! There is now way "ANY" president can make everyone happy, and no way they could fix all the "problems" in less than two years and have everybody happy! What always bugs me is that fact president Obama "HAS" done one hell of a lot in his time in office, and yet he gets no credit for it, even from many of his own party! Now I can't stand republicans, but one thing is for sure, they pretty much support there party and vote for them no matter how crazy they are, and there are sure a lot of crazies running this year!

While I think there is a huge number of trolls who have been coming here since Obama was elected trying to start problems, I also think there are a lot of long time posters here who weren't happy because their candidate did not get the nomination, who are also stirring the pot trying to cause trouble. The choice we have this year may not be the best for one reason or another, but is staying home, not voting, and letting the republicans gain control a better idea? HELL NO! At least with democrats in charge we have a chance, with republicans in charge it's all over for at least the next two years, and I for one don't think we can afford two years of the republicans playing political games and stopping everything that needs to be done so they can make political points!

If you want so see he Bush years come back, then sit home and complain, but if you want to keep on pushing for change, get out and vote!

I don't know what the fuck you thought you were voting for.

Subsidized health insurance. Check.

End the war in Iraq. Check.

Stop the financial collapse. Check.

Help keep folks from starving during the economic disaster. Check.

Reform education. Check.

Rein in corporate excess. Check.

Implement alternative energy strategies. Check.

The list goes on and on. Did you think you were electing Hugo Chavez?

Sorry John Edwards turned out to be a douche. Quit taking it out on Obama.

And yes John Edwards is a douche as a husband, a father, a man. Obama is a huge disappointment as a President. It's exceedingly lame for you to draw such a stupid conclusion.

Because you see, I actually listened to Obama during the campaign and I knew exactly what I was voting for. I supported what I voted for and am getting it.

If you don't think the Democrats are worthy of your vote then: don't vote for them. It's real simple. Put your money where your mouth is.

33. Sorry, but WE does not mean YOU
WE Democrats, ALL of us, elected President Obama, not just a small minority of us. IF only YOU had elected him, then his approval numbers amongst Democrats would be reversed.

President Obama and his administration are doing what WE elected them to do. Perhaps instead of wishing for them to do just what YOU want, you should be asking why YOU do not consider yourself part of WE.
