We have Veterans honorably discharged that have been deported. Some for such minor offenses as a bounced check. Fabian actually was awarded a medal for heroism in Kosovo for saving his commanders life but was deported for a $700 bounced check when he lost his job and didn't get his last paycheck. I have watched as this falls off the first page and only one rec, no replies and about 95 views. Boy, we can get all bent over Biden's statement yet a post like this doesn't draw a reply of disgusting, or I want to help. No instead just little attention but let's go say how angry we are over Biden's statement. Sorta makes his statement more true now doesn't it? I am ashamed to see this reaction.

8. Here is what I know is being done so far

I am in contact with Fabian and he has informed me that he has been contacted by some who are trying to bring this issue to the awareness of the congress and the people. Unfortunately too many people won't pick up the torch and make it known, but some are. The problem is too many are distracted with things like Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and others who are just keeping us distracted. I would like to get someone like Ed Shultz involved but so far I haven't been able to bring this to his attention or Rachel and Keith. It is one of those issues we need everyone to get involved so hopefully some here will get active and if they can call in or get a message to Ed, Keith, or Rachel and get them involved it would help.

Its an admirable cause and all that but this is not what people want to talk about right now, that is my take on why this thread didn't generate any interest. It might suck but thats the way it is in my opinion.

which is I would rather feel insulted than outraged by the injustice. Sorry but you don't impress me because you don't get it. FYI I have posted about this many times and it never get attention so maybe sometimes you have to strike a nerve to get someone to react.

as for unrec I could not care less because that doesn't mean anything, but what I would rather see from you is for you to say you will get active on this issue because that is what really matters, not your feelings or mine but to fight to undo a wrong. If your feelings or mine are more important then we are the ones that help promote this horror.
