What's up with Fed Ex and UPS?

Changing 'That's Amore' to 'That's Logistics' is close to criminal.

And the Fed Ex nursery rhyming office manager is not prosecutable only because the people who wrote it, and produced it, and approved it, are certifiably insane; certifiably inane, for sure.

4. Logistics was created by Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide

To take a hit song and re-write it for commercial use is considered hack work by good ad agency creative people.

This is hack work and it's absolutely hackiest. The Creative Directors who allowed this to happen should be banished to a hack agency, like Grey.

biz would put that mess together. O^M should shrink into oblivion for that travesty.

When sometimes the ads are markedly better than some of the programs (see: GEICO and Jack in the Box), I cannot believe that dreck got on TV.

I posted before reading your post, but yeah...I like the Geico ones too.

That gecko is so cute. It's hard for me to remember he's not real.

My current favorite is the one where he's out to lunch with his boss and he's got this big cellphone and then he pulls out this huge wallet to pay for the meal.

9. I can tolerate those...the ones I hate

are the ones that feature people with nails on blackboard voices. Mostly they're local commercials advertising furniture stores or car dealerships.

Often, the sound level rises to at least twice the level of the program they're interrupting. And some of the local channels play the same. damned. commercial. over and over like every ten minutes. Sometimes twice in a row in the same commercial spot.

Also what I hate is any commercial featuring loud punk/thrash type "musical" accompaniment.


My favorite commercials are the Geico ones with the gecko and the cavemen :7
