Fuck YOU, Boehner: "Dems Have Time for Laughs — Not Tax Cuts"
Bush "had time for laughs" when he joked about WMDs at the White House Correspondence Dinner, you WORTHLESS MOTHERFUCKER.

:grr:

Boehner: Dems Have Time for Comedy, Not Tax Cuts, in Congress

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/09/26/boehner-dems-time-comedy-tax-cuts-congress/

Democrats found time to bring a comedian to Capitol Hill, but refuse to have a vote on preventing tax increases at the end of the year, House Minority Leader John Boehner said Sunday, lamenting Congress' plan to skip a vote on extending Bush-era tax cuts into next year.

Boehner, R-Ohio, who appeared with Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., on "Fox News Sunday," said he wants House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to hold a "fair and open debate" on tax rates because he's confident a bipartisan majority would vote to continue current levels for all tax brackets, which would bring some certainty about the economy for the coming year.

"Washington is spending more time with comedians than debating (our) economic future," Boehner said, referring to comedian Stephen Colbert's mocking testimony of the House on Friday. "They have time to bring a comedian to Washington, D.C., but they don't have time to end the uncertainty.

"If we leave here this week and adjourn for the election without passing tax cuts, this will be the most irresponsible thing we've seen," Boehner said.

3. Ha! Colbert looks more tan than Boehner in those pics. That's funny
because we know what Boehner REALLY looks like! Asshole.

12. Don't underestimate people you dislike.
He is talented. Moreover, he didn't make it because he was connected. In fact the opposite. He came from a very poor family (2nd of 12 kids) and did work his way up.

Know your enemy.

14. According to WHO? The UK Telegraph?
Please, just because he came from a large family doesn't mean they where poor. Give me an original source on that since you seem to know so much. Thanks.

13. Boehner didn't have time to answer one question
He couldn't answer any of the questions posed to him on Fox News.

What would you cut?

Would you make the ban on earmarks permanent?

Would you vote yes for tax cuts on the middle class?

5. They spent as much time on comedy as he did with his mistress?
Goodness me.

Personally, I don't find that much funny about Colbert, although he pulls off some zingers that are clever, but I don't think his appearance warranted that comment from The Boner any more than his comment did mine...I just couldn't resist.

Where's that NYTimes article, by the way?

According to his own party he also drinks a lot. Hits the bars after work, and has no time for other "party" duties! He looks plastered most of the time I see him!

24. That doesnt mean we have to call him Boner.
That's the sophomoric response that i have a problem with.

I don't care who drinks or how much they drink so long as he doesn't drive after.

9. He is right in a way
Pelosi knows that there would be a bipartisan push to extend the tax cuts. Oddly, extending the cuts would preserve some democratic seats. A majority of Americans hear that tax cuts are going away and they tune out before they hear that's its only tax cuts for the top 2%. Our party has done a horrible job of correcting the false message that we support lower taxes for a majority of Americans. We could have turned the War spending bill defeat into a major campaign slogan, saying that the republicans voted against funding for our troops. Instead we hung on the line that the republicans voted against repealing DADT (which is also insane because something like 60% of republicans are for repealing it).

Our party sucks at knowing how to fight its battles. Until we learn how to phrase the truth to our advantage we will keep losing to the republican propaganda machine.

10. I guess the Orangeman didn't listen to the end of Colbet's testimony
It wasn't funny, nor was it meant to be, asshole. Of course, judging from the way he and his ilk giggled over Idiot Boy's "Nope, no weapons there" routine, etc., the suffering of others appears to be a comedy routine to them.

had intelligence or were aware, they would understand that comedians have above average intelligence and hyperbolize the truth in order to make it comedic

He wasn't just an actor. He was an actor whose most famous role occurred alongside a MONKEY.

22. Rep. Boehner, I KNOW you aren't the motherfucker I think you are, no one could be. That's why I have
to believe that you've taken time to discuss your trangressions with your wife and kids, who are about to be thrust into a harsh spotlight YOU, and only you, thrust them into.

I trust you have visited a counselor with her and pledged your support through this very difficult time for her.
