Classic Atlanta conservative businessman
Edited on Sat Sep-25-10 02:17 PM by wilt the stilt
Last Thursday my daughter bottom belly pan fell off of her car at college. I had the oil changed 2 weeks ago. Obviously they didn't put it back on right. Before I went to get it repaired I called them and they told me to go get it repaired and they would cut me a check for my cost. I even called a second time when it was at the repair shop and asked them should they call you and get a PO or a check number but I was reassured that they would cut me a check.

So I went there and they told me that they weren't going to cover the cost of the repair. When I asked to speak to the owner this GM said he was the owner but he wasn't. When I finally talked to the owner I was told that I was unprofessional and they weren't going to pay for it.

I can guarantee this owner is a southern conservative and probably a good "christian" from the south.

I need to get out of here and someplace where people have ethics.

1. If it was a dealership
I'd be calling GM themselves and perhaps the local TV station that covers local customer problems. Most areas have at least one station that has an "ombudsman" or something of the sort that likes to go after scumbags that do this kind of shit.

2. You can always file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau
They keep track of operations with putrid Republicon Family Pharisee Values, such as this pack of welechers who screwed up your daughters vehicle.

3. Do you have one of those "watch dog" type reporters on
one of the local news affiliates? We have a couple of them here, and they are great at getting butt-heads like the one you described to pay up -- mostly by shame and bad press, but hey, whatever works.

4. Last time I checked you did not have to remove the 'bottom belly pan' to change the oil.
What year was you daughters car?

5. We have Clark Howard
as our guy to go to at WSB. Her car is a VW Beetle and you do have to take down the belly pan.
