Boehner had an affair...and Republicans told.
Edited on Fri Sep-24-10 11:37 PM by CoffeeCat
Whenever you see dirt on a politician you have to entertain the idea that he or she pissed
off someone.

They've all got dirty on each other. These are not moral or decent people. Hell, they've
sold our democracy to the corporations--and they chose the pharmaceutical companies, the
food industry and the health-insurance lobbyists over "We The People" every time.

They're destroying democracy. Do we really believe that these jackal politicians aren't cheating
on their wives or taking money under the table or blackmailing teach other to further their own
self interests?

Last week, John Boehner threw conservatives into a tailspin, when he said that he might
consider an extension of the tax cuts only for those making under $250,000. Oh did that
piss off the conservatives.

Sean Hannity on this show, said, "A lot of conservatives were somewhat disturbed about this because they feel
that the Speaker in waiting, John Boehner, should be saying, no way..."

That's the key. "Speaking in waiting." Boehner, a politician who could become Speaker of the House--backed
off on tax cuts for the wealthy. Have you noticed the constant and aggressive Republican meme--that tax cuts for
those making more than $250k are absolutely essential, and without them--are country will perish?

It's their DUTY to persuade the American people that tax cuts for the rich are essential--because without
public support, most neocon-friendly elites would lose money. The big-business folks supporting the neocon
establishment sure as hell make at least $250k. As do the lobbyists, and titans of oil, Wall Street and
insurance. No doubt that many, many big Republican donors are counting on conservatives to get this done!

Boehner dared to go against the power structure in the conservative movement.

Republicans pulled the trigger on this affair. They believe they will win in November and they don't want Boehner
as Speaker of the House now.

You think the neocons fight hard against liberals? That's nothing compared to what they'll do to one of their
own who dares to go against the grain. The neocon politicians will stop at nothing to keep the corruption
vigorous and ongoing--between themselves and the corporations. After all--they all have a deal. Many deals.

Boehner got in their way; and now he will pay.

1. He didn't deliver the change they believed in
They weren't at all pleased with the roll out of the Pledge. It didn't cut the mustard so they're out to destroy him.

Better him than us.

8. It makes sense. His GOP rivals want to take him down.
Everyone in leadership moves up one if he's gone. They're thinking the GOP could get a house majority, and they're positioning to remove Boner the Cheeto. They know he's lazy and ineffective better than anyone. He's on the chopping block.

10. If a politician stands for the poor or against the richest, the skeletons get trotted out.
No doubt his suggestion he might allow repeal of the tax cuts on the rich is the reason for this.

12. IF WE HAD TERM LIMITS
we could get the congress people who wouldn't be able to run again to make serious statements. Statements that tell this country, lobbyist for corporations are funneling billions of dollars into the pockets of congress to get and keep laws that benefit them and the super rich. They could tell them that the corporations want to take congress over permanently. IF WE HAD TERM LIMITS.

14. Term limits also limit the will of the people. Do you wish Ted Kennedy had had his term limited?

For example.
