The fog of political war
The say the first casualty of war is the truth. In my opinion, that is the first casualty of this political campaign, also.

The Repubs say in their sparkly new "Pledge to America" they are going to "balance the budget". They are not going to balance the damn budget! They are going to transfer even more wealth to the top in their pursuit to destroy every shred of government in this country.

The Repubs say they are going to cut spending. They are not going to cut spending where it is needed. They are going to cut spending on people that need it to survive in this country. They are not going to cut the deficit. They are going to increase the deficit. How many times can they get away with these lies?

The Democrats say they are going to cut taxes on the middle-class after the mid-term elections. Why wait until then? What is it that we don't know? Are there actual Democrats that think cutting taxes on the middle-class will harm them politically? Have these few Democrats persuaded Harry Reid to hold off on the vote until after the elections? We have a difficult time seeing thru the fog.

Who are these Democrats? Give us names. We will take care of the problem. We, the Democratic voters, will clear up the fog. We cannot permit the tail to wag the dog.
