I certainly see evidence that we are partially in a class war; i.e. some members of the ruling class have decided they need to increase their power and wealth at the expense of the working/middle class (what's left of it).

Other of the upper class seem aware that our current path is unsustainable.

but some beer and TV, hell add a few chips... and people just sit on them asses.

Americans have been programed to believe that fighting back is un-American or som'thing.

And I am losing any hope that Muricans will fight back in my lifetime.
