Republicans fighting for expansion of Medicare to win support of Tea Party

Republicans say they will also try to scale back the expansion of Medicaid if states continue to object to the costs of adding millions of people to the rolls of the program for low-income people.

In addition, Republican lawmakers may try to undo some cuts in Medicare, the program for older Americans. Many want to restore money to Medicare’s managed-care program and clip the wings of a new agency empowered to recommend cuts in Medicare. Recommendations from the agency, the Independent Payment Advisory Board, could go into effect automatically unless blocked by subsequent legislative action.

Big Government off my Medicare!!!

2. What are they going to expand?
It's doing just fine for me. Are they going to include dental and eyecare? Hire a chauffeur to transport us to the dr?

Don't fix what ain't broke. Leave my Medicare alone, jerks!

3. They will say anything
To get the crazy teabagges to vote for them! They want to get rid of any program that helps the poor and elderly, but they will do like they always do, promise all kinds of things but never do anything if they get elected! When the teabaggers are homeless, without jobs, without medical insurance and can get no help from the programs now in place because the republicans get rid of those programs, maybe, just maybe they will learn that you can't trust the right.

4. They are promising to fight cuts in Medicare
Which I support.

And indeed Medicare should be for all.

The point here - the Republicans - and their Teabagger followers - are only for cuts of programs for "them". "Our" programs are just fine, thank you.
