Tea Party-backed cand. Jeff Perry calls Palin 'an entertainer,' says she's unwelcome to campaign with him in MA-10th

(NECN) - Sarah Palin may be one of the hottest names in conservative politics this election season, but she can cross Cape Cod and the South Shore of Massachusetts off her list of stops.

Jeff Perry, the Republican candidate for the Massachusetts 10th Congressional District says if Palin offered to campaign for him, he would decline the endorsement.

"I don't want her to come down," says Perry, "She's an entertainer."

<snip>

Perry made his comments in an interview taped for Tuesday night's Broadside: The News with Jim Braude. The full interview will be posted on NECN.com shortly after it airs on NECN at 6 p.m.

1. someone's going to get a bunch of hate mail from the baggers.

It makes me wonder if Palin got involved in the primary and if so did she go for the other candidate.

The article doesn't go into a lot of detail regarding his primary contest.

2. Iowa tea-baggers are pissed at Palin for not backing their pick
for governor, so let's just see how that plays out if she actually decides to run in 2012!
