Keith Olbermann & Rachel's Ratings are Closing on Glenn Beck

In Demo (25-54) which advertisers covet Beck on Thursday had 467,000 (he's bottomed out and is back at pre-rally level). KO had 314,000 and Rachel 337,000. Closest I've ever seen them. So KO is only 153,000 short & Rachel 130,000.

I know different time periods but Faux is also more accessible on cable while providers like Comcast moved MSNBC in the less accessible upper tiers.

No TV at all, so I watch online. Not long ago Keith acknowledged that his and Rachel's shows were both way up in the top brackets in online TV ratings.

News tries to sell itself on A25-54 because news skews older but the primary demo for advertisers is still A18-49.

that MSNBC is only carried on half the cable packages whereas Faux and affiliates are on ALL OF THEM.

I called both local satellite companies and told them unless they put MSNBC on their lowest tier i would never purchase their product... not that i want TV anyway, but i wanted to record my displeasure for the record.

15. In many areas ppl don't have to pay extra for FoxNews on cable, & ppl have to pay extra for MSNBC.

So, actually if MSNBC and FoxNews were on the same tier of cable then probably A LOT MORE PEOPLE would be watching MSNBC.

That's less than 1% of the American population. Why does it matter that one cable news station that nobody watches is beating another one that nobody watches?
