Did you see that? After Obama's statement in the Rose Garden when the
crowd headed back to the WH, the door was opened for him, but he took it and held it open for the other people. What a class act!

2. Class act indeed.
Compare that to the boorish Bush the stupider, who tried to barge in ahead of President Clinton (just after the latter's heart surgery) at the opening of the Clinton Presidential Library.

4. I was trying to imagine Bush doing that. Nope. Just wouldn't have happened.
(I mean holding the door open for others - not what he did w/Clinton - THAT I can easily picture!)

11. Remember when Bush tried to squeeze through the door with Clinton?
IIRC when Clinton was still recovering from his heart attack.

6. I saw him do the same thing last week, or whenever his last speech was
at the white house.

He's a VERY classy guy. I couldn't be more proud to have him as my President! :)

9. Yep. I absolutely loved it when during the debates, he would hold Hillary's chair out
for her. No matter how nasty she got in the campaign, he would always be kind and kiss her on the cheek. Greet her with a smile, and make sure her seat was prepared for her and push the seat in when she was comfortable.

Such a gentleman!!

14. That he wants to retain the tax cuts for those who make less than $250K, which,
he reminded us, is over 95% of Americans, and stop giving breaks to the millionaires and billionaires.

It was a good statement - I'm guessing it'll be on the WH site if it's not already. Check it out. :hi:

15. Yes! Must respect the President! Except he shouldn't be allowed to talk to school
children. That's a little too much respect. :eyes:

she probably taught him that and his grandpa modeled it.
