Worm found in high school toilet (shuts down the school's drinking fountains)

"Shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday, the administration at Alamogordo High School reported finding a small worm of unknown origin in a toilet at school, according to a press release from Alamogordo Public Schools.

District administrators responded immediately and coordinated with the New Mexico Environmental Inspection Department, New Mexico Department of Health and the city of Alamogordo.

Inspection and water samples were conducted during the night. Preliminary water testing conducted by the New Mexico Department of Health revealed nothing other than good water quality.

As a precaution, all water fountains were shut off. Bottled water is being provided for students and staff at Alamogordo High School.

The pipes that connect to the toilet also connect to drinking fountains. If there's a worm coming up out of the toilet, doesn't that suggest it's possible a stop valve has failed?

That enters your system through water or food and via the blood stream makes its way to the brain where it creates some rather unpleasant symptoms. It is nearly impossible to detect and makes the victim appear to be wigged out on psychotropic drugs but with no termination via bodily expulsion. It only takes one of the fuckers to put you in the hospital and if the thing drops eggs, you may never recover. New Mexico is easily in range for it to be a concern.

As for earlier posts, the source probably wasn't someone dropping a loaf but rather the clean water supply that feeds the drinking fountains and sinks. So yes, it IS a valid reason to shut down the school.
