Greer case pushed back a year. Sign that it's no longer a political issue?

I'm no expert, but I get the impression that there is some kind of deals being made between the Crist and Rubio camps. You have the fact that the Greer case has been pushed back and now Greer is kissing Obama's butt. Tells me that he's hoping for a second life if his buddy Crist wins.


Greer trial pushed to next year
Attorneys prosecuting and defending deposed Florida GOP chairman Jim Greer have agreed to delay his trial until next year, according to Greer's lawyer.

Officially, Greer is scheduled to stand trial at the Orange County Courthouse Oct. 18, but defense attorney J. Cheney Mason said Monday that lawyers for both sides will ask Circuit Judge Marc Lubet to push that into 2011.

Greer, 48, of Oviedo, is charged with six felonies, including theft, organized fraud and money laundering. The statewide anti-corruption grand jury indicted him on charges that he stole $125,000 from the state party.

Greer's attorneys allege that he committed no crime, that Greer established a legitimate fund-raising company, Victory Strategies LLC, that it served as a contract fund-raiser for the party and kept a commission on each major gift

The Dems need to get the results of that final investigation. Seems weird that we have a final investigation paid by the taxpayer and the taxpayers aren't allowed to see it before an election.
