If the private sector can't/won't provide substantially full employment, does the government need to
give a proper incentive which might, among others, include speaking softly and applying Teddy's big stick? Or is it to be unfettered capitalism run amok as usual?

1. Is it the private sectors responsibility to create jobs for the rest of us?

if it is so easy maybe you and I need to create some jobs so we can pay others - why is it everyone else's responsibility to create good jobs?

2. Let me try again. Is it the private sector's job to take all the prerogatives,
immunities, tax breaks, privileges, personage, licenses, leases, et al, bestowed upon it by the Federal government and do just what has been done these past several years, be it on Wall Street, in the Gulf, off-shore, outsourced, you name it, with no responsibility to the worker, the community, the nation, and even too little to the shareholder?

3. The parasitic corporations need to cut the nanny state purse strings and let that miracle
'invisible' hand do its' magic. The Government needs to put a duty on imports big enough to make it affordable to EMPLOY US CITIZENS again. They need to use the money to employ us as well.
