Proof that Dick Armey and FreedomWorks are only using the teabaggers...

FreedomWorks is refusing to endorse Christine O'Donnell in the Delaware GOP primary.

She's the teabagger candidate who has a platform that is 100% in agreement with what FreedomWorks says it is in favor of.

But.... Dick Armey is no fool... he knows that an O'Donnell win tomorrow means that the Delaware Senate seat stays Democratic.

Armey is only interested in what is best for the GOP, not in what is espoused by the "tea party".

He created the "tea party" out of whole cloth because the GOP brand was so badly damaged after 2008. He knows that "Republican" is a dirty word (still!).

So he created the Tea Party as a vehicle to push conservative policies, rile up conservative voters, and get the GOP back in power under the radar.

Christine O'Donnell SHOULD be his dream candidate... if he believed any of his own bullshit. But he doesn't. His goal is to advance the GOP by any means... even if that means calling themselves something other than "Republicans".

I really am hoping for an O'Donnell win tomorrow.... but I wouldn't put it past there being a "fix" to get Castle in there. Delaware uses electronic voting machines with no paper trail.

He didn't infiltrate it. He created it.

2. I wonder...
How long will it be before the tea party radicals figure out they have been being used by the republicans? And what will they do when they find out? Things may get interesting once they find out they have been played for suckers!

4. I'm afraid that their pride will keep them from admitting it to themselves.
They'll try to rationalize it one way or another.
