Palin lies about media 'sneaking into' Missoula speech; they had credentials
Source: Missoulian

... Contrary to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s warning to the standing-room-only crowd at this afternoon’s Teen Challenge fundraiser in Missoula, the media did not “sneak in” to her speech. We were not there as “moles,” in her words.

Third: I only mention this because that sort of talk – “Be careful. There may be some media that sneaked into the room.” – is intended to create distrust of the professional journalists in this city and all across the country who take their jobs very seriously and work hard to accurately and fairly report the news.

... Last week, they picked up a credential packet from Teen Challenge. They showed I.D. to pick up the packet. They were given green wristbands and were told to put them on their left wrists. They checked in at the door on Sunday, showed their wristbands and were placed in one corner of the room – and told not to move.

They were very visible, very public, very respectful and professional.

1. Can't Palin tell the truth about anything?
Um... forget I asked.

2. Well, Palin is also very visible, very public, but as we well know...
very disrespectful and very, very unprofessional. She pales (no pun intended) in comparison to the journalists she is attempting to denigrate, the ones who as stated in the article, take their jobs seriously and work hard to accurately and fairly report the news. The only job the "half governor" takes seriously is her current mission to make millions and garner attention. In that, she's a success, I suppose. But as for working hard--she doesn't have a clue. What an empty shell of a human being! I admire those journalists for their ability to sit in a room with her and listen to her vacuous ramblings. Kudos to them.

3. You could post "Palin lies about ______________." and it would likely be true.

4. Journalists, at least nationally, have earned some distrust
So I'm not going lose any sleep over their hurt fee-fees about the half-term former governor of the least populous state in the union saying mean things about them. The larger question (I know, nothing's larger than a reporter's ego) is what Mrs. Palin would say without reporters in the room, or what her supporters might say if they weren't censoring themselves. Why would such self-described majoritarians have to worry about saying, seeing as how they're the only True Patriots Who Love America?
