Letterman made Dick Cheney-DC Madame joke, last night (!)

Surprised to not see this on Crooks and Liars.com, or hear about it on Air America... let alone anywhere in the mainstream media.

Last night, David Letterman said that Dick Cheney's name was allegedly on the Client List of the DC Madame (!!!)

The joke was along the lines of "Wow, a good looking guy like that, and he has to pay for sex?" (and people laughed).

Cheney cares about money & power, that's it. Where did this rumor come from?

19. I'm skeptical too, but have heard hearsay from friends of employees of the Dept of Interior.

Story from a former female employee of the Dept of Interior is that Cheney was on the list, and that's the main reason it's release was blocked. 2 close female employees were terminated from the Dept of the Interior, then one of them committed suicide over the firing.
The chain of rumor to me is Dept of Int. employee > friend > my SO's mother > me.

I'm not sure how certain we should be that Cheney only cares about money & power, not sex. Those three are typically not far apart, are they? Especially when we're talking about using financial power to attain lewd gratification.

edit: iow, I have no reason to rule it out yet.
