1. the program ended as soon as Obama took office.
There are many more pressing issues to this Nation besides punishing Bush Admin Officials.

2. You mean
punishing war crimes is not important?

You mean punishing direct violations of the country's core document (that antiquated Constitution?) is unimportant?

And besides that whole line of argument is illogical as punishing the Bush criminals and attending to the other problems of this country can easily be done at the same time.

3. if you don't think putting the Bush Admin on trial will bring the Obama Agenda to a grinding halt,
then you need to think a little harder.

Andrew Jackson violated the Constitution many many times.

Is it time to prosecute him, as well??

We need to deal with what's in front of us before we decide to spend all our energy fighting the past.

Sure, it would be nice if the torturers were prosecuted,
but if that means sacrificing all else, then it is not worth it.

4. As Bush is no longer president, any prosecution of him (or his pals)

would be run by the DOJ, not Congress so the Obama agenda (which supposedly included restoring the rule of law) should not be affected.

Really, isn't it a bit specious to suggest prosecuting someone who has been dead since 1845? Whatever crimes dead presidents have gotten away with hardly justifies letting Bush off the hook.
