"Reform the Medicare structure by getting rid of the government as the manager of the system and give the elderly a voucher to spend on private health insurance. "

1. Now isn't that a great idea?
And if government doesn't manage the system, who would issue the vouchers? No doubt some private company. No room for corruption there!

It worked so well in Iraq, we should just keep doing it... :eyes:

3. Yeah because private health care has worked so well at providing health care to
their clients, yeah and the moons made out of green cheese.

4. Why not?
For all those old folks demanding that the "government get out of my Medicare", this would be giving them what they want.

5. And who in the hell if they got sick would want to wait for
a voucher. Or suppose the voucher didn't cover ever thing. Anything to screw social services to this country. While they mess their pants trying to keep those ridiculous tax cuts for the rich. And the huge tax breaks and welfare for corporations.

6. Great idea, give the elderly and disabled vouchers to spend on private health insurance !!
I am certain that those private health insurance companies would be very eager to issue policies that cover all of their pre-existing conditions, as well as offer competitive and reasonable premiums, deductibles and co-pays....

:sarcasm:

Harding is a sociopath who obviously could not care less how long "gramps and grandma" live after they become "unproductive" citizens.

8. I know, I know,
Rick Scott could be appointed to oversee the parceling out of the private health insurance.
