"Seven days older and deeper in debt." . . . Please come CAPTION Sarah Palin!!!!
Edited on Mon Sep-06-10 10:13 AM by skip fox

Sarah Palin, who consistently gives consciousness a bad (nearly criminal) name, is saying: "Don't get me wrong, Sean, I'm all for the working man. . . . But with labor unions it's like they deny the working man's individuality. Just like communism, they band together and work for the so-called common good. . . . How crazy is that???. . . That's like say John Wayne wasn't ever a real cowboy."

(On edit: Captions are creative commonly at DU. See post #6.)

3. John Wayne was a chickenhawk draft-dodging republicon
Edited on Mon Sep-06-10 10:12 AM by SpiralHawk
Who -- like all Republicon chickenhawks -- failed to serve America, but made a fabulous living pretending to be a war hero.

12. Absolutely!!
The first chapter in the book "Great American Hypocrites" is called The John Wayne Syndrome." He was one of the earliest pioneers of the manipulative right-wing marketing tools. Wayne was a draft dodger during WWII, staying at home in Hollywood, getting rich by playacting as a war hero in one film after another while his peers were off fighting in combat.

6. At DU CAPTIONing has traditionally been a creative activity.
But we try to channel the person's essential hypocrisy or stupidity or whatever. So, in a way, the captions are truer than if they'd been literally said. Dig?

13. The stupidty of ANY portion of this country
to give ANY credibility to this truly ignorant (but disgustingly visable) bimbo has simply reached an all time, moronic LOW.

She has no interest in the working man, or anyone's individuality.
She only cares about herself, her shallow ambition and her money.
Common good is not crazy, it is at the heart of human decency.
John Wayne was an actor.
