Apparently some people in Iraq feel the same way.

Front page of today's LA Times:

(The Times didn't think it appropriate to include this on their website, so I am hosting the image.)

1. Isn't that just what Jesus said?
Lessee here, I think it's Matthew, Sermon on the Mount. Hmmm. What?! Love your enemies? It must be in Luke, he usually got things righter. Uhhh, Sermon on the Plain. What?! Love your enemies again?! Pray for those who do you wrong? Lend, expecting nothing in return? Give to everyone who asks of you? What in the world was that guy thinking?

Well, since 9/11 changed everything, maybe it's time for a little better, butch-er (in a totally wholesome, heterosexual kind of way, of course) Jesus for our age. Tell Jerry Falwell to get going on a New Testament re-write, stat!

What?

Well, ain't that just a kick in the head?

2. I've decided
that I can't possibly even be from the same species as these people. Still waiting for my alien parents to come for me. Mom, Dad? Text me please.

4. Anyone who can visit Arlington and NOT walk away a pacifist needs therapy.
By the way, notice the FRESH GRAVE beyond the cement cap at the left of the picture.

They're planting soldiers so fast they can't get the sod laid before the next hole gets dug. MADNESS.
