I worry about what will happen to Pres Obama if the repukes
win enough seats to gain subpoena power after the upcoming elections.

Clinton was impeached over (comparative) bull$hit and He's of European descent......I HATE to imagine what the repukes will try to do to President Obama. It will be a friggen slow-motion lynching!

1. Hopefully that path wont happen.
Compute the effects from those effects. Not pretty.

2. Unfortunately, the repubs have said just that, that
one of the first things they will do if they regain control is start the subpoenas rolling for numerous "investigations" (read witch hunts to destroy the presidency). Some of them have said that one of the "investigation" subjects will be the "rise of the New Black Panthers." Um, huh? First of all, that isn't even happening and, second, even if it is, WHAT THE FUCK does the president have to do with it?????????

3. How long before the name "rezko" comes up on fox? 10 minutes
maybe? We endured 8 years of Rose Law Firm this & that bullshit funded by john birchers. I'm not looking forward to anymore of that shit but I can see it coming.

4. Impeachment requires a VALID charge
I don't see a GOP majority on the horizon in either house, anyway.

To me, the funniest thing was Issa saying if he became committee chair he'd double investigative staff to go after dems--after he said last year that voters should get rid of any pol--GOP or dem--who votes for big government!

6. Under Bill Clinton they investigated for five years ...

before they managed a charge. They don't care if the impeachment is upheld by the Senate.

A Republican majority will move from day 1 until they find or trump up a charge.

7. We don't disagree
They would pursue the most spurious charges for political advantage.

Personally, I don't think we'll lose the House--but it remains a possibility, and there are plenty of loony or calculating conservatives who would exploit a GOP win to serve their agenda.

5. If Democrats get off and out and vote they republicans
won't stand a chance. Even if you don't like the Democratic candidate they will be a hell of a lot better than a republican. So we have to vote.

10. The republicans are too
lazy and self engrossed to care for the people who elected them. If they try to impeach, once again they prove to be a do nothing political party.
