Gawker: Will Barack Obama Love America Enough on 9/11?
<snip>

"Politico, the Beltway's go-to sociopath news outlet, has weighed all of Barack Obama's "options" for 9/11 this year and finds "few" good ones. There are apparently some grave political risks for Obama on 9/11 if he doesn't mourn properly.

Choosing an appropriate forum to remember 9/11 is "especially awkward" for the president this year, Politico notes, because of the president's recent very controversial decision to not go fucking insane over a proposed Islamic community center in New York City's Lower Manhattan neighborhood. How offensive would that be for Barack Obama to visit Ground Zero on 9/11, only weeks after he didn't go fucking insane over a proposed Muslim building several blocks away?

Politico breaks it down, in the usual sociopath manner.

No matter where he goes, the president's critics will likely speak out. If he doesn't go to New York , Obama could be accused of dodging ground zero because of the Islamic center. If he does, he risks facing the anger of some Sept. 11 families and New York officials offended by his position.

Why it's a brewing political calamity!"

2. Republico can blow me
They've found a niche feeding right wing propaganda to "journalists" too fucking lazy or scared to actually search for the truth themselves.

How they manage to have even a shred of credibility anywhere left of fox news is beyond me.

3. It is kinda sad
When I see Jon Stewart as possibly one of the few actual credible sources of news. Of course it is all comedy, but he really doesn't have to spin all the nonsense to make it so.

4. LOVE this comment at the story--LOL!
You guys have to see it from the Right's point of view; after 9/11, they realized that they will have to pretend to like NYC for the rest of their lives!!!

5. Obama just needs to go read "My Pet Goat" to some school kids in the morning,
then disappear for the rest of the day.

Biden needs to go into hiding for the day as well.

Hillary can go shopping for shoes in an undisclosed location.

Then all of them will be doing the same things Bushco was doing on 9/11. That should be enough love for America, right?

'Cause no one loved America more than Shrub...at least that's what I keep hearing... :puke:

6. Barack Obama could sew a three-piece suit out of an American flag,
have sex with Michelle wearing a flag-patterned condom, and sleep with the flag draped over him at night and he STILL would not "love America enough" for the wingnuts.

I'm glad he's past caring what they think of him.

8. For once they should get ahead of this.
Call of a national day of quiet remembrance. Make anyone who uses it for politicking look like a dick. How hard can it be?

12. Nobody wants to talk about what the real game is in town...
Which is to criticize Obama for ANYTHING, no matter how trivial the "problem".

The man seems to inspire all kinds of projection from every corner of the realm.
