The *human* response to war is disgust. I don't understand any other response.

When it is stoked by feelings of revenge and nifty news photos of all the high tech weapons, and nationalism.

And daily shows on H channel about ww2 and war tech.




People don't know about war, they think of it as a game.

5. I've never been to war, and I can't understand anyone who isn't disgusted by it.

I realize we need to fight to protect ourselves in some unusual cases (WWII), but... no, I just don't understand what's so exciting about it.

Part of the problem is that we're glossing over the abuses and horrors of the Iraq War.
