Poll question: Should we have polls or not? (this is a POLL)
Some on DU seem to be anti-polling but most seem to love this feature on DU. I believe it's a great way to tell where fellow DUers stand on particular issues. It also opens up a dialogue which is always positive.

What's your view on polls?

2. Warning: if you can read this, then your epidermis is on display!

  1. Voting in polls thickens the skin, allowing one to experience less trauma while participate on a message board.

  2. Reading a poll thread without voting in it thins the skin, making unpleasant experiences more likely.

The above statements are based on anecdotal evidence, and haven't been confirmed via double-blind scientific testing. Please take them with a grain of salt (unless your doctor has prescribed a low-sodium diet for you).

8. I wish we ran more polls.
I always like to take our pulse. Sometimes the frequent, more opinionated commenters can really skew people's view of things around here.

10. Yes
I like the polls. If people don't, they can always hide thread.
