But tell me, how in fuck's sake can a woman stay with a man who doesn't even want her?

Can anyone explain that shit?

3. They had a 10 year old and a 5 year old who didn't want a divorce.

Plenty of people stay together for their children.

"One night when I was up reluctantly working on the divorce papers, my eldest daughter appeared by my side. 'I don’t want you to get a divorce,' she said. I didn’t either. Yet until this moment, it hadn't occurred to me that I had the power to stop this from happening. I realized perhaps the break-up of my marriage wasn't inevitable and that by standing up, maybe I could also help others."

7. Yeah, I can see that

But she's concentrating on the entire system of divorce in her state, instead of focusing on her cheating bastard of a husband who decided that he doesn't want her anymore.

If he didn't want to dump her and decided to keep the family intact, she wouldn't have any reason to go all Don Quixote on New York's divorce laws.

Her priorities are all screwed up.
