Gov Manchin WINS today's West Virginia Democratic Primary for U.S. Senate.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia Democratic Gov. Joe Manchin has won his party's nomination in the race for the U.S. Senate seat held by the late Robert C. Byrd.

Saturday's primary came two months after the Senate's longest-serving member died at the age of 92.

Manchin was among three Democrats seeking the party's nomination to run in November for the remaining two-plus years left on Byrd's seat. ....
