Product placement.
Edited on Sat Aug-28-10 02:33 PM by LiberalAndProud
MSNBC front page. Story placement is fascinating.

* Clearly the most important news of the day is that D.C. is abuzz with Beckians. (Not the headline, by the way.)
-- yawn --
===
* I see that Parison Hilton got busted.
Again?
Hmmm.
===
* New Orleans is ready for a comeback.
Awesome dude!
===
It occurs to me that our domestic news is terribly ... uninteresting.

Moving on to world news.

===
* Iraq on Highest Alert For Terror Attacks.
I know many of us view the end of combat operations in Iraq with a jaundiced eye, yet I am excited that something important will happen there tomorrow. This is a splendid, fantastic step toward ending the war. Worthy of celebration.

BOOYAH!

===
* And finally: New Levee Break Threatens Pakistan City.
These folks just can't catch a break. I wonder if they appreciate the drones we keep sending in. Do you suppose they're helping?

Anyway, I hope you're all enjoying your Saturday paper too.
