And no, that's not what I actually believe, but I do fantasize about yelling that into some conservative's face every time they bitch and complain.

After having that said to me for 8 years, you do have to find it tempting, although I have only actually said to someone once.

4. The former Bushbots (now teaklan/teabaggers)

3. I thought that was a quote from Rahm to progressives
the DLC doesn't appreciate the Democratic part of the Democratic Party too much.

They just like to party with corporate lobbyists.

9. This whole board is a personal platform of sorts -
it is everyone expressing their own opinions. His is just as valid as yours - and probably more correct (at least in my view).

11. Of sorts.
I want unemployment extended again, do I put that into the middle of every discussion? No, it's hardly appropriate to do that. Oh well.

13. People are going to write about what they want -
especially in a thread that is pretty acrimonious in nature from the get-go. Not everyone is going to bend to message control.

14. I suppose that's true.
But it's more like a tug-of-war than message control.

7. it's somewhat true for Tea partiers and anti-govt.
If they hate the public infrastructure and the progressive tax system that makes it possible maybe they should move to Somalia where taxes are pretty low.

8. That could really be said to alot of people including progressives

but most don't want to leave - or at least don't want to trade their citizenship for what ever is behind door number 2. As much as people say how bad the US is - there are few who would take their chances by pulling the name of a random country out of a hat

10. Some of us have been here an awfully long time -
I know you hate it that some of us might actually be socialists, and we may also trace our ancestors back to the 1600's. Deal with it.
