...The scuttlebutt I'm hearing is that Senate Dems and GOPers are working closely with the White House on the finishing touches of an act granting amnesty to illegal Mexican immigrants. This is starting to look more and more inevitable.

Amnesty is a big flashing neon sign saying "America: Another Soon to Be Open Low-Wage Nation".

The mega-transnational corporations, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and, of course, the Bushites will just love an amnesty for all the illegal aliens in this country now -- it is a dream come true for them. Tragically, it is too many misguided Democrats in Congress who will deliver this cheap labor gift to the corporate powers.
