Is this Debbie Wasserman-Shultz's brother?

<snip>
Craig Wasserman, an M&A partner at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, passed away on Monday at 49. Wasserman was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor two years ago, according to The New York Times.

On Friday, The New York Post reported that Wasserman's 13-year-old daughter Alison had raised more than $300,000 in conjunction with the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for her ailing father. Alison Wasserman raised the money as part of her bat mitzvah in June.

" taught me to always be resilient and never give up," she told The Post. "He's always had a positive attitude. He never complains."

The Times reports that in addition to his daughter, Wasserman is survived by his wife, Marla; a son, Jared; his mother, Sandra; and two sisters, Debra and Mindee.

Deepest sympathy.

3. I kind of doubt it
First, the New York Times probably would have identified him as the brother of the congresswoman.
Second, it says he is survived by his mother, Sandra. Debbie Wasserman Schultz's mother's name is/was Ann. http://www.fau.edu/library/br155.htm

5. "Wasserman" is like "Smith" in a synagogue directory.
