Tea Party Patriots...WAR (if they don't win)...my neighbors.
e-mail I received just now.......

What if we Fail?

With national elections only a few weeks away it's time to step up all of our efforts and demonstrate for the world the true power of We the People, American citizens, as we use our freedom and the system of democracy, so brilliantly designed by our founders, to restore the greatest country on earth to the core principles that made it great. Among those principles are fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets.

Consider what it is worth to you and your family to get our country off of its current disastrous course.

Consider what it will cost you if we fail.

But failure is not in our future, because we will not allow it. We are Americans and we are Tea Party Patriots!

Our destiny is not to fade miserably into the socialist quagmire that has sucked the life and freedom out of so many once vibrant countries and people around the world. The destiny of America is to lead the world in freedom, in justice, and in prosperity.

And while America may have stumbled a few times throughout history, including our current situation, we have always recovered. So we will again.

America has long been a beacon of hope to oppressed and downtrodden people suffering under inferior, domineering, and cruel governments in their home countries. Millions have risked their lives to get here, or given their lives to allow their families to get here. They did so because they knew the American way of life and way of government would allow them the freedom to which all men and women are entitled. They would rather die than go back to those other forms of government. And now our leaders are pushing us towards the very form of government that millions have died to escape.

As an American, it is your duty to protect and preserve the legacy of liberty given to us by our ancestors. The patriots who came before us were not the kind to sit back and wait for others to take action. They knew that their efforts were required to maintain the American way. And so they did what was necessary.

Tea Party Patriots know that too. And so we are doing what is necessary.

It is necessary to keep Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barack Obama, and every elected official who is pushing a socialist agenda on their heels, on the defensive, and on the run so that they cannot ram through any more destructive legislation.

It is necessary to keep both major political parties, republican and democrat, in fear that the American citizens will hold them accountable for their failures.

It is necessary to shout so loudly that we wake up those Americans who are still sleeping, teach them the value of their freedom, and warn them of the peril that it is in.

It is necessary that we keep each other, our fellow Tea Party Patriots motivated and in good spirits to fight the fight. Because it is easy to feel defeated when our opponents are as vicious as they are now.

It is necessary to be so vocal and visible that we override the media lies about our intentions and our honor.

And it is necessary to blockade those who wish to take away our liberty, so that they never have a clear path to achieve their goals.

Will you help us?

Is $500 to much to ask to protect freedom? Can you dig even deeper and give $1,000 to preserve America? Will you reach out to others that you know and raise $5,000 or $10,000 to insure that future generations enjoy the same liberties that we've had all our lives?

The time to act is now. If you do not do what is necessary, who will?

The liberal establishment is set to spend hundreds of millions of dollars attacking and attempting to discredit Tea Party Patriots. Socialist leaning, liberal billionaire George Soros will sink untold amounts of money into his group MoveOn.org in his war against the values of Tea Party Patriots. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barack Obama, and all of their willing accomplices in the media will relentlessly bash the Tea Party Patriots as they fight to keep their power. ACORN (which now calls itself "Community Organizations International" but it's still really ACORN) will flood the streets with paid workers to knock on doors and drag their voters to the polls. The corrupt, liberal unions will use their muscle to bully and forcibly take money from their members and use it by the millions to assault Tea Party Patriots because we threaten their crooked leaders' grip of control.

This will be an all out war fought with money and media.

Do what is necessary. Talk to your family and friends and enlist them in our cause. Ask them to donate as well. Encourage them to attend our rallies and join us in our effort to get out the vote. Ask them all to write letters to their friends, and to newspapers, and to elected officials, and to write on websites, and call radio stations, and to leave no stone unturned.

Momentum is in our favor. History is in our favor. Freedom is in our favor. With your help we will turn this movement into an unstoppable force and restore America to glory!

Please give whatever amount you can.

13. Actually not...
They used the word "to" when they should have used "too." I think the line is "is $500 "to" much to ask?"

7. It's the word 'WAR' if they don't win
War can mean a metaphoric war, and it can also mean picking up guns and shooting the winners of the election.

9. here's another scource

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU HEARD IT IN THIS FORUM? OR LISTENED TO SOME TALK SHOW HOST SLAM A PERSON OR GROUP WITH THIS LOSELY USED PHRASE"COMMIE LIBERAL SO AN SO" ETC.

ONE OF THE TEAS PARTIES FUNDERS IS THE KOCH BROTHERS!

AND THE NEXT TIME BE CAREFULL WHO YOU CALL A COMMIE!

Oddly enough, the fiercely capitalist Koch family owes part of its fortune to Joseph Stalin. Fred Koch was the son of a Dutch printer who settled in Texas and ran a weekly newspaper. Fred attended M.I.T., where he earned a degree in chemical engineering. In 1927, he invented a more efficient process for converting oil into gasoline, but, according to family lore, America’s major oil companies regarded him as a threat and shut him out of the industry. Unable to succeed at home, Koch found work in the Soviet Union...

14. "Our destiny is not to fade miserably into the socialist quagmire "
Ironic how many of the most vocal of the Teabagger "Patriots" live in federal tax recipient states that have benefited most from the "socialist" redistribution of tax dollars from federal tax donor states that were or still are historically comprised of primarily industrial and manufacturing employees, many if not most belonging to unions.

Tea Party Patriots=Tea Party hypocrites
