Exxon Mobil made 9.8 BILLION profits for the first quarter of 2007

Conoco Phillips made 7.7 BILLION in the same quarter. This is obscene, while they have every right to turn a profit this is fucking insane, when people are making choices between gasoline and other necessities they haven't any right to make money like that.
It's time to claw some of that back, now, nore than ever is time for a windfall profits tax, mandatory investment into renewable energy research, a tax break for working people so they can cope with this insanity, rebates, something has to give.
