Crying CSPAN caller from Indianapolis
She calls in crying the whole time whining about the Democrats. It was ridiculous with the crying. Steve Scully let her go on and on which is good because I wouldn't believe it if I didn't hear it myself. Here is what she said (paraphrasing) and keep in mind, she is boo hooing as she says all this:

"I just want to say.... I hope the CIA is listening. Democrats bash bush. The American people just utterly bash him. That Hillary Clinton, I have to keep myself from breaking the tv. She is such deception. In one of her speeches she said if she is in the White House, she will look under the rugs and clean out the trash. How dare she talk about Laura and the President that way. Why don't those Democrats back our president? Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton and Rosie O'Donnell should all be shipped to Iraq, they are horrible people and anti-American. The Clinton's....if Hillary Clinton gets in, Bill will be running it too and we will be right back in the same crap we were in before. My heart is heavy on all this politics. The Democrats are sending a message to the enemy and our soldiers, yes, I want them home too but they are fighting to keep us free. and if President Bush gets out of office and one of those idiots gets in, we are goanna get attacked. Mark my words. I am a wise old lady."

Okay, do you feel sorry for people like this and hope that she take her medication? I would have loved to question her directly about what she said. First I'd ask her did she say anything against the hate her party directed toward President Clinton when he was in office. I'd also ask her what crap is she talking about if HRC wins the White House. The last thing I'd mention to her is if she realize that the Sept. 11 attack happened during the Bush/Cheney administration.

This Washington Journal segment was from last sunday (mother's day)at the 1:45 mark. Take a listen when you have time. It's unbelievable.

I feel your pain!!

More and more every day I have the feeling that Bush, the CIA and Cheney were involved with
9/11......Cheney being the top one when he directed the military training excercise that
day 'Operation Northern Guardian'
The only VP in History that I know of that was involved with a military training excercise.......

Ive also known a lot of mean old "wise" women who were no better than mean old "wise" men.

Honestly I know several women just like her, she is suffering a breakdown of conscience like so many others are. As the hypocrisies and their horrible and real effect on the world, comes home to those who supported said hypocrisy whole heartedly it becomes more and more difficult to rationalize.

Think about it... as far as being wrong about something, war is pretty much the worse thing you can be wrong about because it inevitably entails every wrong there is. It takes a lot for people to admit they were wrong... sometimes it strikes them like a lightening bolt, sometimes it strangles them like a python. Look at Vietnam, idiots still think that it was winnable and that what we did there is and was perfectly acceptable... I think this citizen probably doesnt know how to deal with their own complicity yet, hence incoherent hysterical babbling.

10. Yesterday on the Tom Leykis show - similar thing.
Now I know how some of you feel about Leykis, but this was a *slight* departure, so bear with me. He usually doesn't do politics, but was talking about the unregistered voters vis-à-vis Hillary's outreach. His premise is that a majority of young women are not well-informed about politics and don't vote which of course just hands the power to us old white guys. Naturally, he gets criticized for that stance so he asks the women to call in. Of course there are the "you are wrong; I know everything" callers who Leykis then quizzes with questions like "who is the Speaker of the House?" One woman, a big fan of the Iraq war and the dipwads who took us there was perfect example of why Bush is in the Whitehouse. She couldn't answer why we're in Iraq--either the real reasons or the lies--she had no clue what the term "sectarian violence" means and didn't know who the warring factions are in Iraq. She wasn't even making sense; just kept saying "we're fighting for people who have wrong ideas forced on them..." but she was adamant that the US invasion was the right thing to do.

"If President Bush gets out of office and one of those idiots gets in, we are goanna get attacked."

Apart from the "idiots" reference to Democrats, I expect that the MIC will stage another attack on the United States (a la 9/11) on the Democratic president's watch so that his/her policies will be blamed.

26. I quiet a lot of R's w/the question, "did you support Clinton
when he was president, or did you jump on the hate bandwagon?"

It is a great way to stop the incessant rantings of lunatics.

Lot's of other things too, like how, under Clinton's watch the 1st WTC bombers were caught; McVeigh and crew were caught; Clinton actually tried to get bin-Laden, but it was the GOP who cried "foul", (most people don't know bin-Laden was w/in 1/2 hour ob being hit by a Cruise Missile, he just left too soon).

I also bring up bin-Laden, who is apparently running around making more plans; how this war has created a vast base of terrorists; it is virtually impossible for Iraq to invade us; and how bush has screwed up everything he's ever done throughout his entire life, the presidency being just the latest in a long line of disasters.

I love doing this, and inevitably, the RW'ers are silenced by their own guilt...:D

41. Other good points are that the GOP-controlled Congress

ignored the report of the commission chaired by VP Al Gore on improving airline security.

The Bush administration ignored everything they were told about Osama and Al Qaeda.

They kept Richard Clarke on as Anti-Terrorism "Czar" but wouldn't meet with him.

And they paid no attention to the bipartisan Hart-Rudman committee report on terrorism.

they were far more interested in flag burning, denying gays equal rights and people of color voting rights than anything else.

They are also responsible for the disaster known as the Patriot Act, and are so beholden to tax cuts that benefit the wealthy at the expense of the middle class that it is almost an embarrassment.

Man...those people suck BIG TIME...:P

Wow. See what happens when I miss the show for a day? Damn my incessant need for live-saving medication...

Seriously, I'm led to wonder if this might not have been a plant to engender symapthy for the GOP. I post at a site where vaious topics, including politics, are thrashed about on a daily basis and, during the last two Presidential elections, we' had a noticeable influx of neocon spammers who flodded ballots with right-wing propaganda and "feel-good" segments devised to bolster the GOP image. These spammers disappeared pretty much to a number after Mister Bush won the elections. Propaganda pays.
