Patrick Fitzgerald to announce within 24 business hours that he will be retrying
Rob Blagoyevich.

I guess it will be Fitzmas again. Someone had to say it.

3. But were those American business hours,
or Spanish business hours, excluding siesta time?

4. He should let it go already. If he had a case, there would've been more convictions.
It's not like Illinoisans are reluctant to send governors to prison, given the evidence. Just ask George Ryan. Or Dan Walker. Or Otto Kerner.

17. Unfortunately we still have yet to initially try Rove! Which YES needs to be done!

Along with Marc Grossman, whom he no doubt knows exposed Brewster Jennings and Valerie Plame earlier than Scooter did after hearings in that trial.

"Talk to Sibel Edmonds, Fitzgerald!"

(sung to the tune of "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald")

7. Business hours can take weeks & weeks. Why am I reminded
of a black & white webpage using large Courier font??

9. I'd rather he retry the criminals behind the Plame exposure
than retrying an idiot.

11. Why business hours?
Edited on Tue Aug-17-10 06:40 PM by JonLP24
I never heard of that. I've heard of business days. Why not just say 3 business days if-assuming he is talking about 8 hour workdays?

That was an odd statement.

On edit-I can't find that statement Fitz said. I found this--http://www.kgan.com/template/inews_wire/wires.national/28116b42-www.kgan.com.shtml which just basically says he is getting ready for a re-trial. Do you have a link mad or didya hear it on TV? If so I'll keep looking for the statement for clarification 'cause I never heard of "business hours" in my life.

Back in 05 or 06, Jason Leopold of "truthout.org" which is WillPitt's blog, stated that Fitzgerald would be indicting KKKarl Rove in 24 business hours. A lot of us fell for it. As you can guess most of here wanted this to happen...

20. Well Jon, in a way it was.
It goes back to how fitz futzed up the rove case and now has totally made a mountain out of a mole hill with the Blago trial.

(and how we got snookered here by certain "journalists")

Hang it up Fitz. You had 23 substantive counts and got "no sale" on all of them.
