Anyone care that there's been a corporate co-opt of independent news stations live-streaming?

I can't find this anywhere
yet on news web sites. This morning I was watching Democracy Now live
on my computer, as usual, and the broadcast was interrupted constantly
by corporate ads! This is a viewer supported broadcast. Evidently
Livestream.com has now sold ad space to corporations to air ads during
these livestream broadcasts.

I switched to Firefox and even after blocking every single script with
my add-ons, the commercials still played.

I think this is indeed a huge "tipping point" of some kind!

The corporate takeover of our lives is complete! There's no where else
to run! They're everywhere now!
