It must sound kinda strange to outsiders to say you meet such wonderful people and have such a great time when you're rallying against something as serious as this miserable war - but it's true. I went back to work today and told everybody what a fantastic group of people I met, and how getting together with all of you reinforced my belief that together we can make a difference.

Jeanette, you and the other DUers were so supportive and so positive that I do have hope for the future. I hope that, in the event of a sane administration in the future (Gore?!?), we'll all keep in touch and continue to fight for what's right!!!!11111111

Check back later once I sift through my pix (West Coast chick here). Most of them are just me holding the cam over my head and hoping for something usable (I'm only 5'4"!). But it was a fantastic turnout and an incredible show of unity from the sane majority saying "get us out of this madhouse NOW!"

Saturday's march just about wore this l'il protester's footies out. I went back to my hotel fully intending to join the group at Kelly's - but conked out for several hours until it was too late. Another example of aging hippies engaged in demolishing the infrastructure. Actually, I'm completely normal-looking, as I'm sure you can attest! But, man, did my feet hurt! Must have been due to the very slow trudging up Capitol Hill due to the TENS OF THOUSANDS (mainstream media):puke: (gag) protesters:puke:

For those of you who wanted to make the march but couldn't...it was fantastic, and we knew you were there in spirit.

For the media who under-reported the whole thing - I was there with witnesses, and you are a bunch of weenies,
