Lots of requests for political t-shirts at my girlfriends vending
business. She recently switched from being a food vendor to clothing and hats. She mostly operates in a conservative part of Washington state. I'm afraid to ask just what the specific requests are. She's extremely talented custom making shirts and stuff and I say let the suckers have what they want. Having a display full of liberal themed merchandise won't change anyones mind in that area anyway.
I'm part owner and ponied up the money for stock and supplies. My first instinct was to say, no teabagger or confederate crap! I suppose there is an irony that I can make money selling teabagger crap to idiots. I had not anticipated this when she started up. I'll have to tell her to make sure and throw in some spelling errors so they don't get wise to us. I will make sure and give part of the money to good liberal causes.

1. On the topic of miss spelling.
It is not always the original spelling, that many think is the meaning of something, that is the real spelling of something.

Many times what is thought of as the original spelling was never the meaning of an item.

Because meaning is not defined by the speaker, but by the listener.

3. I strongly disagree with what you're planning.
Every anti-Obama shirt, every anti-Muslim shirt, every conservative message shirt, helps spread their message. Every time someone walks down the street or goes to the gym in a shirt that says "Obama is the worst president in history" makes that message more mainstream.

It's really bad mojo.

If I were you, I'd charge a lot to make conservative shirts... then, for each one I sell, I'd donate TWO liberal shirts to liberal groups or websites.

4. Your story reminds me of something else involving a temporary WA resident
Remember Brian Bosworth? The guy that was going to take the Seattle Seahawks to the Super Bowl?

Well, he stoked up the fires of the Seahawk-Broncos rivalry, and the Denver fans bought tens of thousands of T-shirts bashing The Boz from a company owned by...Brian Bosworth.

He wasn't that great of a football player (or actor, either) but he sure learned a thing or two in some business classes.
