Do you believe the Democratic Party is the party of minorities and the poor and lazy?

I do, because it's also the Party of the majorities and the middle class and the rich and the hard-working.

It is the political party of people who look different from me.

It's the party of people who don't think like me.

And it's the party of people who don't act like me.

It's also the party of people who don't see eye-to-eye with me on every issue.

You see, we are all Democrats because we don't believe ourselves better than the other.

We know each of us is equal to all others under the law.

9. I am a lifelong Lazo-American.
Outstanding term for what we all should strive to be. We have the technology. We just don't have the will -- as in the power of government to do what must be done: Create an economy that benefits all.

10. Not intentionally, as they each contribute to society in their own way.

11. Money is the mother's milk of politics and the mafia.
Sorry, "Justice" Roberts, it is wrong to equate dollars with political speech.

We the People should do whatever is nececessary, at least for politics, to create a system based on ideas and ideology and vision.

Remember what finally got Kong?

"No. It wasn't the airplane. It was beauty that killed the beast."

To free America from the influence of money grubbing corporate hacks is communication -- a Free Press, the very thing noted by the nation's founders in the First Amendment.

4. Of course. Because it si the party of the disenfranchised. Which is why we
need to keep poking sticks at the hornet's nest even though it aggravates Mr. Gibbs.

12. Agree 100-percent.
The Democrats stand for ALL Americans. The "little people," the "small people" and those who have no voice in the corridors of power. What must scare the likes of Mr. Gibbs is that there are a lot more of us than there are of "Them," those who first appreciate the value of a dollar.

5. Well, of course -- I heard it on the radio! :)
And TV, too!

And don't forget -- it's also the anti-American party.

:sarcasm: << In case it wasn't obvious.

13. That's it, exactly.
Hear and see something often enough and a big chunk of We the People will start to believe it's true. It's how the right made people believe the press is "Liberal" and that tax cuts don't bring budget deficits and that Democrats don't support a strong national defense. Nothing could be further from the truth. Nothing could better show the need for a truly free press.

6. Under DLC control, I do not think the Dems are the party of the poor, lazy, or other
Rather, just the co-party of corporate interests.
