35 Tea Party Groups Send a Letter to the FCC urging it to kill Net Neutrality.
The Tea Party Hates Net Neutrality Because It’s An ‘Affront’ To Free Speech. Umm…

The Tea Party, the “American socio-political movement that emerged in 2009 through a series of locally and nationally coordinated protests,” and known for its colorful protest signs (as seen here), hates Net Neutrality. Why does the Tea Party hate Net Neutrality? “I think the clearest thing is it’s an affront to free speech and free markets.” Thus spoke Jaime Radtke, chairwoman of the Virginia Tea Party Patriot Federation. Net Neutrality is an affront to free speech? Did I wake up in Bizarro World?

The Virginia Tea Party Patriot Federation—a fantastic name, by the way—was one of 35 Tea Party groups that sent a letter to the FCC urging it to rubbish Net Neutrality.

1. Obviously, the Tea Baggers don't know what Net Neutrality is.
Just like they think their taxes are too high, even though they're lower now than they've been in years.

They don't want government-controlled health care, but they love their Medicare.

In short, they're clueless and have no idea what is really going on, or how things really work. They are I-D-I-O-T-S.

7. They are useful idiots who are being skillfully manipulated
to the bidding of our corporate overlords.

If they had any critical thinking skills they wouldn't be Tea Baggers. It's becoming clearer all the time that their marching orders come from the corporate establishment.

14. You got that right!
They were upset with the bailouts for wall street, but did they go to wall street and protest? No they went to D.C. and waved their crazy signs and blamed it all on the president when Bush was he one that put most of the bailouts into place with no strings attached. These morons are to stupid to check things out and find out who it really is they should be protesting, they just take their order from the likes of Rush and Beck who take their orders from the big corporations that pay their salaries!

The whole tea party thing is a joke and one that I think will come back to haunt the republicans come November!

3. I agree it's an afront to free market but...
So is public roads and public water supply.

The free market isn't always an end in itself.

4. I'm beginning to wonder if the Tea Baggers, who abhor "government"
...really secretly craves to be dictated to...to be controlled by some kind of corporate body.

I find it ironic that a "movement" that craves freedom would be so willing to become mere serfs and pawns for the corporations...

11. They are tools for corporations that screw them up one side and down the other but they are too
stupid to understand it.

I got a tea bagger type co-worker here. He is part of our IT department. He was bitching about the jobs bill raising his taxes. I showed him that the money for the jobs bill was coming from closing a corporate tax loophole and by cutting food stamps but that didn't fit this rant so it made no difference to him.

12. Take away our Internet, please.
I really wish the teabaggers had the brain capacity to understand what they're now supporting, but they don't.
