Angle Embraces Her Inner Al Gore

I kid you not. Bat shit crazy, Sharon Angle, has a new ad out accusing Harry Reid of wanting to raid the SS trust fund for his pet projects. The ad continues with Angle, who has formerly called SS 'welfare' saying she wants to restore the Social Security trust fund and put Social Security in a 'lock box.'

You can't make this shit up!

The ad calls Reid out as being in favor of continuing the practice of putting SS funds in the general fund and 'raiding' it. I believe she will be pushing the 'personal account' angle (pun intended). Of course, since she won't do interviews if the reporter don't play nice, we may never know.

5. Reid's campaign has been wall to wall with ads showing her calling SS 'welfare' and favoring ...

'personalizing' SS accounts. It's been quite effective and she's backtracking. That said, her new ad looks very effective. Reid needs to quickly jump on this and expose her hypocrisy. I'm pretty sure her lockbox is not the same lockbox Gore advocated.
