a disagreement in politics means you hate the other person. In some cases, it does. I will never learn to love Dick Cheney. But you, a good progressive Dem. I cannot dislike you. We ARE all Dems.

Posting to say "me too" or "+1" doesn't add much to a debate.

DU is a discussion forum. Airing and arguing about disagreements is one of its raisons d'etre.

It's just that I'm humbled (really) by the talent of the people here. I am not talented at all when it comes to writing down my thoughts. Many, many Duers {Ones I agree/disagree with) are so talented, it kind of spooks me. This is a real admission of mine, not playing games.

I believe that the DLC and others in the Democratic Party might call themselves Democrats, but they are, in fact, craven political opportunists willing to sell unions and the middle class down the river to lap up the ocean of money being dangled by corporate interests that have already bought and paid for the GOP.
